The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) issued a formal statement emphasizing that safeguarding the state’s frontier and accelerating development should be the twin pillars of governmental focus. The committee highlighted the strategic importance of Arunachal Pradesh’s border areas, noting that persistent security challenges demand sustained attention from both state and central authorities.
In addition to security concerns, APCC leaders stressed that infrastructure, education, health and livelihood projects must be fast‑tracked to improve the quality of life for residents in remote districts. They argued that balanced development would not only bolster local economies but also reinforce national security by stabilising border communities.
