Anurag Kashyap Joins Chiranjeevi’s ‘Kaaka’; Shooting Starts in Hyderabad

Anurag Kashyap, the acclaimed director known for his work in independent cinema, has officially joined the cast of Chiranjeevi’s new project titled “Kaaka”. The collaboration was announced as shooting commenced in Hyderabad, marking a notable convergence of two distinct film‑making styles.

The film, starring veteran actor Chiranjeevi, is expected to blend commercial appeal with Kashyap’s signature gritty storytelling. While details of the plot remain under wraps, industry observers note that Kashyap’s involvement could add a fresh narrative edge to the star‑driven venture.

Production crews set up on location in Hyderabad earlier this week, and principal photography is now in progress. The city’s film‑friendly infrastructure is facilitating the shoot, with local authorities providing necessary support for the schedule.
