The Anti‑Narcotics Task Force in Nagaur, Rajasthan, recovered 5.4 kg of MD valued at approximately ₹1.62 crore and seized the vehicle used for its transport.
The Anti‑Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) carried out a large‑scale operation in Nagaur, Rajasthan, targeting a drug‑smuggling network. During the raid, officers uncovered a concealed compartment beneath a car seat, where 5.4 kg of MD was hidden.
Laboratory estimates place the international market value of the seized MD at around ₹1.62 crore, underscoring the scale of the contraband involved. The seizure is among the biggest drug busts reported in the state this year.
In addition to the narcotics, the vehicle used for the transport was impounded. Police also detained a minor who was found in the car, preventing further involvement in the illegal trade.
State officials said the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated anti‑narcotics efforts and will serve as a deterrent to similar activities in the region.
