Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the third One Day International against the West Indies, with all‑rounder Anshul Kamboj named as his replacement.
Prasidh Krishna, who has been a regular member of India's pace attack, was declared unavailable for the third ODI of the series against the West Indies due to a niggling injury. The board confirmed his omission ahead of the match scheduled later this week.
All‑rounder Anshul Kamboj has been called up as the replacement. Kamboj, who has performed well in domestic tournaments and the India A side, brings a left‑handed batting option and medium‑pace bowling to the squad.
Team management said the change will not alter the overall game plan, but the loss of Krishna's experience adds pressure on the remaining bowlers. The revised XI will be announced shortly before the toss.
