The state government confirmed that all schools in Andhra Pradesh will stay shut tomorrow as the Eid Milad‑un‑Nabi holiday is observed.

The Andhra Pradesh education department issued a notice stating that schools across the state will be closed tomorrow in observance of Eid Milad‑un‑Nabi 2026. The religious holiday, which falls on the same day, is recognised by the state as a public holiday for students and staff.

According to the official circular, both government‑run and privately managed schools are required to suspend regular classes until the holiday concludes. The decision aims to allow families to participate in the commemorative events without the disruption of academic schedules.

Transport services for school children have also been suspended, and exam timetables will be adjusted where necessary. Normal school operations are expected to resume the following day, subject to any further directives from the state authorities.
