Amritsar authorities will receive the remains of freedom fighter Madan Lal Dhingra from the UK, as announced by Dr. Ravjot.
Dr. Ravjot announced that the remains of Madan Lal Dhingra, a martyr of the Indian freedom movement, will be brought from Britain to Amritsar. Dhingra, known for his 1915 assassination attempt on Lord Hardinge, was executed in 1915 and his remains were kept in the UK. The transfer is part of a broader effort to honor national heroes and bring their remains home. Officials will arrange a ceremonial reception in Amritsar, with participation from local dignitaries and the community.
