The Amrit Bharat Express linking Charlapalli and Gorakhpur has received clearance from the Railway Ministry, marking the sixth premium train to originate from Hyderabad’s twin cities.
The Railway Ministry has cleared the Amrit Bharat Express that will run between Charlapalli in Telangana and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
The new service will connect the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad with the eastern city of Gorakhpur, covering a distance of roughly 1,200 kilometres.
This clearance makes it the sixth Amrit Bharat Express to originate from the Hyderabad region, expanding premium rail connectivity across the country.
Rail officials say the train will start operations soon, after final safety checks and crew training are completed.
