Amole Gupte: I Don't Fit Bollywood, Better Away from It

Filmmaker Amole Gupte has recently shared his candid views regarding his relationship with the mainstream film industry. He has explicitly stated that he does not feel he fits into the Bollywood system.

Gupte expressed that his creative sensibilities and working style do not align with the conventional norms of the industry. He emphasized that staying away from this specific circle is a positive choice for him, allowing him to maintain his artistic integrity.

The director's comments highlight a growing trend among independent filmmakers who prefer to operate outside the commercial pressures of major studios. By distancing himself from Bollywood, Gupte aims to focus on projects that resonate with his personal vision rather than commercial expectations.

This stance reflects a broader shift in the Indian film industry, where many artists are choosing niche platforms and independent productions over mainstream stardom to preserve their creative freedom.
