Amnesty International Warns India’s Arms Sales to Israel Could Implicate It in Gaza Genocide

Amnesty International has released a statement warning that India's supply of weapons and ammunition to Israel may render it complicit in the alleged genocide occurring in Gaza.

The human rights organisation highlighted that the arms exported by India—including rifles, ammunition and other military equipment—are being used in operations that have led to extensive civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.

Amnesty urged the Indian government to review its export policies and consider the international legal implications of continuing to supply arms to a country accused of committing war crimes.

The statement adds to mounting global scrutiny of India's defence export practices amid the ongoing Israel‑Hamas conflict.
