Amarnath Pilgrims Leave Jammu

The Amarnath pilgrimage is a significant event in the Hindu calendar, attracting thousands of devotees every year. This year, a fresh batch of 964 pilgrims has embarked on the journey from Jammu to Baltal, marking the beginning of their spiritual quest. The pilgrims will cover a distance of approximately 95 kilometers to reach the holy cave shrine, situated at an altitude of 3,888 meters.
