All-rounder Amandeep Khare has emerged as the mainstay of Chhattisgarh’s side, yet selection for higher‑level tournaments remains out of reach.
Amandeep Khare has become the pivotal figure for Chhattisgarh’s cricket squad, consistently delivering with both bat and ball in domestic competitions. His performances have often turned matches in the team’s favour, earning him recognition as the side’s leading all‑rounder.
Despite his impact at the state level, Khare has not yet secured a place in larger platforms such as the Indian Premier League or the senior national team. Selections for these higher tiers continue to elude him, even as his domestic statistics improve.
Cricket analysts note that competition for spots in premier leagues is intense, and selectors tend to favour players with broader exposure or specific skill sets. Khare’s case underscores the challenge many state performers face in bridging the gap between regional success and national opportunity.
The Chhattisgarh Cricket Association has expressed confidence in Khare’s potential, indicating that continued strong performances could eventually open doors to bigger stages. For now, he remains a cornerstone of his state side, shouldering the bulk of its on‑field responsibilities.
