The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACBC) arrested two assistant engineers in Alwar’s Kathumar Panchayat Samiti on charges of demanding a bribe. The engineers, identified as Shivram and Mina Khan, allegedly sought 35,000 rupees to clear a pending bill of 2.52 lakh rupees. The arrest followed an investigation into irregularities in the payment of municipal bills. The case is now under the purview of the local police and the anti‑corruption court for further proceedings.
