Akshay Kumar installs bullet‑proof glass at his residence, sources say

Mumbai‑based sources confirmed that veteran actor Akshay Kumar has had bullet‑proof glass installed at his residence. The move is being described as a precautionary security measure following heightened concerns about personal safety among high‑profile celebrities. No official statement has been released by Kumar or his representatives, and details about the installation timeline remain limited. The upgrade is part of a broader trend where Indian film stars are enhancing home security with advanced protective fittings. While the exact location of the property has not been disclosed, the development underscores growing awareness of safety threats in the entertainment industry.

The decision follows a series of high‑visibility incidents involving public figures, prompting many in the film fraternity to reassess their security protocols. Industry insiders note that bullet‑proof glazing offers both visual clarity and resistance to ballistic impact, making it a preferred choice for high‑risk environments. As of now, there are no reports of any security breach at Kumar's home.

Akshay Kumar, known for his action‑oriented roles, has not commented publicly on the matter. The installation is expected to remain a private affair, with the actor focusing on upcoming film projects.
