Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed BJP candidate Vikas Yadav secured just ten votes in Azamgarh and warned he will fight alleged election fraud.

Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party, addressed reporters in Azamgarh, stating that Vikas Yadav, the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the constituency, received only ten votes in the recent poll. He described the figure as evidence of systematic manipulation by the BJP, alleging that vote counts were tampered with and voters were intimidated. Yadav pledged that his party would employ every legal and political tool to prevent such fraud in the upcoming elections. The leader also paid tribute to veteran socialist Ram Manohar Lohia, invoking Lohia's ideals as a moral guide in the fight against corruption and electoral deceit. His comments arrive ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, where the SP aims to challenge the BJP's dominance in the state.
