The Akali Dal faction ‘Waris Punjab De’ inaugurated a new office in Mohali on Thursday, aiming to strengthen its political agenda and expand public outreach in Punjab.
The Akali Dal splinter group ‘Waris Punjab De’ formally opened a new party office in Mohali on Thursday. The inauguration was attended by senior party functionaries and local supporters, marking the first dedicated premises for the faction in the city.
Party leaders said the new office will serve as a hub for coordinating grassroots activities, outreach programs and policy discussions, reinforcing the group’s agenda of regional development and cultural preservation.
Political analysts note that establishing a permanent base in Mohali could enhance the faction’s visibility ahead of upcoming state elections, potentially influencing voter dynamics in the Chandigarh‑Mohali corridor.
