Earlier this week, a crowd of Ajmer residents gathered near a badly damaged road to express their frustration with the state of local infrastructure.
The protest focused on the road's severe disrepair, which locals say has become hazardous for commuters and pedestrians alike.
Demonstrators directed their anger at the councilor responsible for the area, chanting slogans and demanding swift remedial action as the municipal elections draw near.
Municipal authorities have not issued an official response to the grievances raised by the protesters.
