Ajmer’s Pox Court No‑1 convicted two men in separate sexual assault cases involving minor girls from the Kairi area, handing each a ten‑year rigorous imprisonment term and a fine.

The Pox Court No‑1 in Ajmer delivered a decisive verdict on two separate sexual offence cases involving minor girls from the Kairi region. Both accused were found guilty by the bench and were sentenced to ten years of rigorous imprisonment.

The incidents, which pertained to distinct assaults on under‑age girls, were investigated by local police before being forwarded to the court. The victims, identified only as minors, had reported the crimes earlier this year, prompting a swift legal response.

In addition to the custodial term, the court imposed a monetary fine on each offender, underscoring the judiciary’s intent to impose a deterrent penalty for crimes against children. The judge emphasized that such heinous acts against innocent victims will attract the harshest possible punishment under the law.

Legal experts noted that the sentencing aligns with the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, which mandates stringent punishment for sexual crimes involving minors.
