AIMIM state vice‑president Babu Bhai claimed the Congress is using fear tactics on the Muslim community to secure votes ahead of the Rajasthan assembly polls.
During the ongoing Rajasthan state assembly campaign, AIMIM state vice‑president Babu Bhai publicly accused the Indian National Congress of employing intimidation tactics to win Muslim votes. He asserted that the party is deliberately stoking fear within the Muslim community to influence the electoral outcome.
Babu Bhai further described the Congress as a "B‑team" of the Bharatiya Janata Party, questioning the party's commitment to Muslim representation, the management of the Darbar School, and the functioning of the Minority Cell. He suggested that these issues are being leveraged to create apprehension among Muslim voters.
The Congress has not issued an official response to the allegations as of now. Political observers note that such accusations could heighten communal sensitivities ahead of the polls, but they also stress the need for evidence before drawing conclusions.
