AIIMS Bhopal organized a two‑day workshop that provided doctors with hands‑on simulation training in both robotic and laparoscopic surgery. The program focused on mastering camera navigation, precise needle handling and suturing under a controlled virtual environment.
Participants were also instructed in advanced procedures such as mandibular reconstruction, dental implant placement and the digital planning of three‑dimensional surgical guides. These modules used high‑fidelity simulators to replicate real‑world operative scenarios.
The training aims to upgrade surgical expertise across the region, enabling clinicians to adopt minimally invasive techniques that can reduce patient recovery time and improve outcomes. Officials said the initiative aligns with national efforts to modernise operative care through technology‑driven education.
