Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation reviews readiness for Mayer Gomon Carnival

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) conducted a formal review of the preparations for the Mayer Gomon Carnival, an event slated to take place later this year. Officials from the corporation inspected the planned venues and assessed the status of infrastructure work, including temporary structures and crowd‑control arrangements.

The review aimed to ensure that all logistical aspects, such as waste management, traffic diversion and emergency response plans, meet the standards set by municipal guidelines. AMC representatives also coordinated with event organizers to verify that safety protocols are being implemented ahead of the festival.

By undertaking this assessment, the corporation seeks to address any gaps well before the carnival commences, thereby safeguarding participants and visitors while facilitating a smooth cultural celebration.
