Ahmedabad experienced a severe downpour, causing widespread flooding and traffic disruptions.
Ahmedabad was struck by a heavy rainstorm early this morning, with reports of rainfall exceeding 50 mm in a few hours.
The deluge caused several streets, especially in the central and western districts, to flood, forcing commuters to seek higher ground.
Local authorities have deployed water pumps and road crews to clear debris and restore traffic flow, while the police have set up temporary traffic control points.
Residents were advised to avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary and to stay updated through official weather alerts.
