Advocate Divyarshi Tiwari was electrocuted near Bhopal’s DB Mall, and five days after his death investigators have not identified the source of the current or the responsible party. The Congress party staged a protest demanding accountability from the electricity department and municipal corporation.
Earlier this week, advocate Divyarshi Tiwari suffered a fatal electric shock while standing near the DB Mall in Bhopal. The incident occurred when a live wire or faulty pole allegedly contacted the ground, leading to his immediate collapse and subsequent death at a nearby hospital.
Five days after the tragedy, investigators from the electricity department and municipal corporation have been unable to determine the exact source of the current or assign responsibility. Preliminary checks of the pole and surrounding wiring have not yielded conclusive evidence, leaving the case unresolved.
In response, local Congress leaders organized a demonstration outside the DB Mall, brandishing placards that accused the electricity department and the Bhopal municipal corporation of negligence. They demanded a swift inquiry, identification of the liable party, and appropriate legal action against those found responsible.
