Adani Energy Solutions has been awarded a transmission infrastructure contract worth ₹4,700 crore by the Maharashtra government.
Adani Energy Solutions (AES) announced that it has won a transmission project in Maharashtra valued at ₹4,700 crore. The award was made by the state authorities as part of their effort to upgrade the power grid.
The contract covers the design, construction and commissioning of high‑voltage transmission lines and associated substations across key corridors in the state. AES will be responsible for delivering the infrastructure within the timelines stipulated by the agreement.
Industry analysts say the deal reinforces AES's growing presence in India's power‑infrastructure segment and aligns with the government's push for grid modernization and greater renewable‑energy integration.
If executed as planned, the project is expected to improve grid reliability, reduce transmission losses and support the state's long‑term electricity demand growth.
