Actor Abhay Verma says he earned Rs 800 a day for his role in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’

Abhay Verma, known for the TV series ‘Operation Safed Sagar’, recalled that his daily remuneration for a part in Hrithik Roshan’s biopic ‘Super 30’ was Rs 800.
Abhay Verma, who gained recognition through the television drama “Operation Safed Sagar”, disclosed his earnings from the 2019 Hrithik Roshan‑starrer “Super 30”. In a recent interview, the actor said he was paid Rs 800 for each day he worked on the film.
“Super 30”, a biographical drama about mathematician Anand Kumar, featured a large ensemble cast. Verma’s role was a supporting one, and his remuneration reflected the modest fees typically offered to lesser‑known performers in big‑budget productions.
The actor’s comment highlights the stark pay disparity that exists in Bollywood, where lead stars command multi‑crore contracts while many supporting artists receive daily rates measured in a few hundred rupees. Verma’s recollection was reported by The Indian Express.
