The Manasa Action Committee has called for a protest at legislators' residences in Ludhiana at 11 a.m. today, demanding a decision on the Parvinder Singh Jhoota murder case and opposing Amit Shah's visit.
The Manasa Action Committee announced a protest to be held today at 11 a.m. outside the residences of legislators in Ludhiana. The demonstration is intended to press authorities for a decision on the pending Parvinder Singh Jhoota murder case.
The case, involving the killing of Parvinder Singh Jhoota, has remained unresolved for a week, with no ruling on the final rites despite family demands. Relatives and supporters have repeatedly called for swift action.
The protest also signals the committee's opposition to Home Minister Amit Shah's scheduled visit to the region, accusing the political leadership of neglecting the case. Organisers warned that the demonstration could turn confrontational if their demands are ignored.
