ACME Solar announced the addition of a 2.29 GWh battery energy storage system this fiscal year, raising its operational storage capacity to 3.62 GWh.

ACME Solar has announced that it will add a 2.29 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) during the current fiscal year. The expansion brings the company’s total operational BESS capacity to 3.62 GWh, up from 1.33 GWh before the addition. The new units will be integrated with the firm’s existing solar generation portfolio to enhance grid stability and provide peak‑load management. By increasing its storage footprint, ACME Solar aims to support the growing demand for renewable energy solutions in India’s power sector.
