The Anti‑Corruption Bureau of Jammu & Kashmir has detained 12 additional individuals linked to a leak of recruitment papers for the state’s fire services.
The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Jammu & Kashmir announced the arrest of 12 more suspects in the ongoing investigation into the leak of recruitment papers for the state’s fire services. The arrests were carried out across several locations in the union territory on Thursday. The suspects are alleged to have accessed confidential documents related to the selection process and distributed them to candidates. Earlier, the ACB had detained a group of officials and candidates in connection with the case, and the latest arrests bring the total number of detainees to 30. The bureau has stated that the investigation is still underway and that further action will be taken against those found guilty.
