The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest in Ajmer, demanding the reinstatement of student union elections. The protest led to a brief confrontation with the police.
The protest was held at the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU) in Ajmer. The ABVP activists demanded that the student union elections be reinstated. The situation took a turn when the activists stopped the car of the Superintendent of Police (SP) and raised slogans. The police had to use mild force to control the situation and detained several students. The ABVP has been consistently demanding the reinstatement of student union elections in the university.
