ABVP claims Generation Alpha is more mature than previous generations

The student organization ABVP has stated that members of Generation Alpha exhibit higher levels of maturity compared to earlier cohorts, according to a report in the Nagaland Post.
ABVP, the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, released a statement asserting that Generation Alpha – individuals born roughly from 2010 onward – are displaying greater maturity than Millennials, Gen Z and earlier cohorts.
The observation was featured in the Nagaland Post, where ABVP leaders highlighted traits such as heightened academic responsibility, advanced digital literacy and an early sense of civic engagement among the youngest generation.
While the organization praised these qualities, education analysts cautioned that maturity assessments are subjective and vary with socio‑economic backgrounds. ABVP said it will channel the perceived strengths of Gen‑Alpha into campus outreach and leadership programmes.
