The Aam Aadmi Party has unveiled a slate of 40 candidates to contest the upcoming Punjab legislative assembly election.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has recently released its first list of candidates for the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections.
The list contains 40 names, covering a mix of urban and rural constituencies across the state, signalling the party's intent to field a broad-based team.
AAP officials said the candidates will contest against the incumbent government, aiming to expand the party's presence in Punjab.
The party, which has previously contested Punjab polls, is now gearing up for an intensive campaign ahead of the scheduled election dates.
A final, comprehensive list of all candidates is expected to be announced in the coming weeks as the election timeline tightens.
