AAP Protest Turns Violent at GMADA in Mohali: Stones Thrown at ED Vehicles, Windows Shattered

AAP activists disrupted a meeting at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, hurling stones at Enforcement Directorate vehicles, breaking windows and deflating tires.
Local sources reported that members of the Aam Aadmi Party gathered outside the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) office in Mohali and turned the demonstration violent. Activists approached vehicles belonging to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), throwing stones that struck the cars and caused visible damage.
The stone‑throwing resulted in broken windows on several ED vehicles and the deflation of their tires, leaving the law‑enforcement fleet temporarily immobilised. The incident was captured by on‑site witnesses who described the scene as chaotic and confrontational.
Authorities later cordoned off the area to restore order and assess the damage. No official statements regarding arrests or further action have been released as of now.
