A crocodile over six feet long got caught in a fishing net on the Ganga River at Kapur Diara Ghat in Bhojpur district, prompting onlookers to take selfies.
Early Sunday morning, a fishing net deployed at Kapur Diara Ghat on the Ganga River snagged a crocodile measuring roughly six and a half feet in length. Local residents and anglers who arrived at the spot discovered the reptile struggling within the tangled mesh.
Authorities from the Babura police station were alerted and quickly reached the scene. While the animal was being examined, a crowd gathered, and several individuals began taking photographs and selfies with the unusual sight.
Officials have urged the public to maintain a safe distance and refrain from disturbing the animal, noting that wildlife officials may need to intervene to release the crocodile safely and prevent further harm to both the creature and fishermen.
