In a recent Ghar Wapsi initiative in Chhattisgarh, 61 people reportedly returned to their original faith under the leadership of BJP MLA Bhawna Bohra.
The Ghar Wapsi campaign, organized by BJP Member of Legislative Assembly Bhawna Bohra, saw 61 individuals in Chhattisgarh declare a return to their original faith.
The initiative was carried out in several villages across the state, with local volunteers assisting in the process.
Bhawna Bohra, who has been active in the party’s outreach programs, stated that the drive aimed to promote religious harmony, though the event has attracted attention from various community groups.
Officials confirmed that the conversions were voluntary and that participants were provided with necessary documentation.
The campaign reflects the BJP’s broader focus on religious identity issues in the region.
