A six‑year‑old boy from Madhya Pradesh has been awarded a Rs 50 lakh Toyota Fortuner after a Rs 200 lucky‑draw coupon secured the prize.
A six‑year‑old resident of Madhya Pradesh has become the latest winner of a high‑value automobile prize, receiving a Toyota Fortuner valued at approximately Rs 50 lakh. The win came through a lucky‑draw ticket that the boy purchased for just Rs 200, demonstrating the dramatic contrast between the modest entry fee and the lavish reward.
The announcement was reported by Mangalore Today, which confirmed that the draw was conducted in accordance with the organizer's terms and that the prize will be handed over to the child's guardians. No further details about the sponsoring company or the draw's mechanics were disclosed.
Such windfalls are relatively rare in India, especially for a child of this age, and they often attract public interest across the country. The Fortuner, a popular SUV, is expected to be delivered to the family after the necessary paperwork is completed.
Authorities have urged participants in similar promotions to verify the legitimacy of offers and to retain proof of purchase, as consumer protection agencies continue to monitor large‑scale prize draws for compliance with regulations.
