Udaipur’s Dada Dhuni Darbar wrapped up a continuous 51‑day yagna that began earlier this year, drawing devotees from across the region. Organisers claim the fire ceremony lasted without interruption for the full duration, adhering to traditional rites.
The ritual reportedly involved the offering of 1,51,000 kilograms of hawan material, ranging from fruits, sweets and garments to precious metal ornaments. Among the items, gold and silver jewellery were presented alongside 251 distinct medicinal herbs, a detail highlighted by the Darbar’s custodians.
According to the Darbar’s spokesperson, the extensive offerings were intended to invoke divine blessings for health, prosperity and spiritual upliftment of the community. No official verification of the quantities has been made, but the event has attracted considerable local attention.
