Moga's grain markets have recorded an inflow of 48,141 metric tonnes of paddy, according to local reports.
Moga's agricultural markets in Punjab have reported the arrival of 48,141 metric tonnes of paddy, as per the latest figures released by local authorities. The volume reflects the ongoing post‑harvest movement of rice from farms to market centres.
The influx is expected to bolster the supply chain ahead of the upcoming trading season, helping traders meet the demand of both domestic consumers and regional processors. Market analysts note that such a sizable arrival typically signals a healthy harvest in the surrounding districts.
No further details on pricing or distribution have been released yet, but officials indicated that the stock will be monitored to ensure smooth market operations.
