A passenger bus collided with a stationary truck on the Shahdol‑Rewa road, leaving around 30 people injured, ten of them in serious condition.
A crowded passenger bus traveling on the Shahdol‑Rewa main road struck a truck that was parked on the side of the highway. The impact occurred from the rear of the bus, sending several passengers forward and causing injuries.
Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene and reported that roughly thirty occupants of the bus sustained injuries. Among the wounded were school‑going children, and medical officials said ten of the victims are in critical condition.
Paramedics transported the injured to nearby hospitals in Shahdol, where treatment is ongoing. Authorities have cordoned off the accident site and are conducting an initial investigation to determine why the bus failed to stop in time.
