SP Dr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal ordered the transfer of 29 police personnel across Shahdol district, directing them to report to their new stations within three days or face departmental action.
Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh – On Monday, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal issued an order that reshuffled 29 police officers across the district. The officers have been assigned to different police stations and branches, and each is required to assume duty at the new posting within three calendar days.
The directive, conveyed through an official circular, emphasizes strict compliance. Officers who fail to report on time have been warned that disciplinary measures will be taken under departmental rules.
Such large‑scale transfers are intended to refresh the administrative setup and address operational needs within the Shahdol police force. The SP did not disclose the specific reasons for each posting, but the move reflects a routine effort to optimise personnel deployment.
The police department has asked the transferred staff to coordinate with their new station in‑charges for a smooth handover, and to complete all formalities promptly. The order underscores the authority’s focus on maintaining discipline and efficiency in law‑enforcement operations.
