Uttam Kumar, a 25‑year‑old resident of Dhorlahi Kathal village in Saran district, Bihar, went missing on Wednesday after closing his shop. According to witnesses, he told a shopkeeper that he was going to the Rewa River and then boarded an auto.
After the auto ride, Kumar’s mobile phone abruptly shut down, leaving no trace of his location. Local residents reported that the phone’s battery had been fully charged before the incident.
Police were alerted by the shopkeeper and began a search in the surrounding area, focusing on the Rewa River bridge and nearby roads. Authorities have requested the public to come forward with any information that might help locate the missing youth.
