A 21-foot-long mace made of ashtadhatu reached Amloh, attracting large numbers of devotees who gathered to view the holy relic.

Amloh, a town in Punjab's Ludhiana district, witnessed a significant religious gathering on Tuesday as a 21-foot-long mace crafted from ashtadhatu was brought to the locality. The massive relic, revered for its composition of eight sacred metals, was transported from an undisclosed shrine and placed on a temporary platform near the town's main temple.

Thousands of devotees, many traveling from nearby villages, assembled to catch a glimpse of the mace, which is considered a symbol of divine power in Hindu tradition. Onlookers stood in long queues, some offering prayers and chanting hymns as the mace was displayed for public viewing.

Local authorities coordinated crowd management and ensured that the event proceeded without any disturbances. The organizers have not announced a schedule for the mace's subsequent relocation, but they indicated that it will remain in Amloh for a limited period to allow worshippers to pay their respects.

The arrival of the ashtadhatu mace has also sparked interest among cultural historians, who note that such large metal artifacts are rare and often associated with historic temples and festivals across northern India.
