Preparations are in the final stage for the Kavad Yatra from Sehore to Kubereswar Dham, with 2,000 volunteers assigned to food service and special parking on three routes, and a floral decoration of over three quintals planned for 24 August.
The annual Kavad Yatra, scheduled for the last Monday of the Sawan month and for 25 August, is entering its final preparation phase. Authorities have mobilised around two thousand volunteers who will oversee the massive food distribution required for the pilgrims travelling from Sehore to Kubereswar Dham.
To ease traffic congestion, special parking zones have been set up along three designated routes leading to the shrine. The parking plan is designed to accommodate the expected surge of devotees while ensuring smooth movement of emergency and service vehicles.
On 24 August, the shrine will be adorned with more than three quintals of fresh flowers, creating a spectacular visual for the pilgrims. Organisers say the floral decoration underscores the religious significance of the event and aims to enhance the devotional atmosphere.
Local officials have confirmed that all logistical arrangements, including sanitation, medical aid and crowd control, are being coordinated with the volunteer teams. The comprehensive plan reflects the region's commitment to a safe and orderly celebration of the Kavad Yatra.
