170 kg Ganja Seized in Bhopal, Odisha to Dewas Smuggling Bust

Bhopal Crime Branch seized 170 kg of ganja being transported from Odisha to Dewas in the Kolara area. The truck driver has been apprehended, while the main accused remains at large.
Acting on a tip, the Bhopal Crime Branch conducted an operation in the Kolara area, intercepting a significant quantity of contraband. A total of 170.90 kilograms of ganja was recovered during the action.
The seized narcotics were reportedly being transported from Odisha with the destination being Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. Authorities have arrested the truck driver involved in the smuggling attempt.
However, the primary individual orchestrating the operation, identified as Santosh Bairagi, managed to evade capture and is currently a fugitive. Investigations are ongoing to trace his whereabouts and dismantle the wider smuggling network.
