168 Tamil Nadu aspirants qualify for UPSC interview stage

A total of 168 candidates from Tamil Nadu have cleared the written stage of the Union Public Service Commission's civil services examination and will now appear for the interview.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced that 168 candidates from Tamil Nadu have successfully cleared the written component of the civil services examination. These candidates will now proceed to the personality test, commonly known as the interview, which is the final stage before final selection.
The interview assesses candidates on their personality, leadership qualities, and suitability for administrative roles. Successful performance in this stage can lead to appointment in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service and other central services.
Tamil Nadu’s representation in the interview pool reflects the state's continued focus on competitive examinations and the preparation efforts of its aspirants. The candidates will join peers from across the country at the scheduled interview venues as per UPSC’s timetable.
