16 Keralites Come Back from Nepal Floods, One Still Missing

After the devastating flash floods in Nepal, sixteen Keralite nationals have been repatriated, with one still unaccounted for.
The recent flash floods that struck Nepal left thousands displaced and caused significant loss of life. Among those affected were several Indian nationals from Kerala who were stranded in the disaster zones.
Asianet Newsable reported that sixteen Keralites have now been brought back to India, arriving via Kathmandu airport and escorted by Indian diplomatic staff. One of the returnees is still missing and is being listed as unaccounted for.
Kerala’s Home Department confirmed that the missing individual is being searched for in coordination with Nepalese authorities and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu. Families of the victims have been notified and are receiving counselling support.
The state government has pledged further assistance to the families of the flood survivors and is monitoring the situation closely as relief operations continue in Nepal.
