A truck collided with a crowd of worshippers at the Shitala Mata Temple in Gwalior, raising the death toll to 16 and injuring dozens, including two critical patients sent to AIIMS Bhopal.
A road accident at the Shitala Mata Temple in Gwalior turned tragic when a truck plowed into a gathering of devotees. Initial reports indicated that 57 worshippers were caught in the vehicle's path, sustaining injuries of varying severity.
The casualty count rose to 16 after a victim succumbed to injuries while receiving medical care. Two of the seriously wounded have been transferred to AIIMS Bhopal for advanced treatment, while the remaining injured are being treated at local hospitals.
