A 14‑year‑old boy, Atul Yadav, was killed when he fell from a tractor‑trailer in Bagihwan Mishra village, Gopalganj, on Saturday morning.
Atul Yadav, 14, lost his life after falling from a tractor‑trailer on a road in Bagihwan Mishra village, Gopalganj district, on Saturday morning. The incident occurred while the vehicle was moving along the main road used by farmers during the Navratri season.
Local residents attribute the accident to a makeshift speed‑breaker that had been illegally erected on the road. The uneven surface reportedly caused the tractor to lose balance, leading to the fatal fall.
Police have opened an investigation into the incident and are examining the legality of the speed‑breaker. They are also looking into whether the tractor was operating within safety regulations.
The tragedy has shocked the village community, which had been celebrating Navratri festivities. Families and neighbors gathered to mourn Atul’s passing, turning the joyous occasion into a somber remembrance.
