A head‑on crash between a Pawan Express bus and a balker near Badbar Stand on the Rewa‑Sidhi highway left 12 people dead and more than 20 injured.

A severe road accident occurred on the Rewa‑Sidhi highway near Badbar Stand in Madhya Pradesh, where a Pawan Express passenger bus collided head‑on with a balker. The impact was forceful enough to heavily damage the bus and cause a large number of casualties.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and began evacuating the injured to nearby hospitals. Initial reports confirm that twelve people lost their lives in the collision, while more than twenty others sustained injuries ranging from minor cuts to serious trauma.

Local police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash, including whether speed, driver fatigue, or road conditions contributed to the incident.
