A 108-year-old woman from Mahidpur reached Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple holding a kavad in one hand and a damru in the other, accompanied by her two elderly sons.

Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh – On a recent pilgrimage, a centenarian devotee from Mahidpur arrived at the Mahakaleshwar Temple carrying a traditional kavad in one hand and a damru in the other. The 108-year-old woman, known locally as a "dhani bai," performed the ritual offering as part of her personal worship of Lord Mahakal.

Accompanying her were two sons, roughly aged 80 and 60, who walked alongside their mother throughout the journey. Their presence underscored the familial devotion that often characterises pilgrimages to the revered shrine.

The sight of the elderly pilgrim, balancing the sacred pot and drum, attracted attention from temple visitors, highlighting the enduring faith and physical resilience of senior devotees in the region.
